Mahua Agrawal is joining the Hoover Chair for a 4-year PhD fellowship (Global PhD Partnership). Jointly affiliated with RIPPLE (KU Leuven) and the Hoover Chair, Mahua will work under the co-supervision of Helder de Schutter and Axel Gosseries. Her research project is titled 'Is Self-Identification Sufficient to Confer Membership of Gender, Linguistic or Age Groups?' and entails deciphering the ontological, moral and politico-philosophical workings of self-identification as a possible enabler of group membership.
